The Alvarado Fonseca family are all for experimenting and have been processing their coffees in very diverse ways: washed, red honey, natural, fermented natural and anaerobic. They grow many varieties caturra, red bourbon, typica and of course this catuai.
Earlier this year, 2021, they competed in the Cup of Excellence for the first time and were placed 5th which is amazing.

Cup Profile : This lot is a washed lot from Finca Salitre which cupped so well, clean, well-articulated and very sweet, like panela sugar. Great roundness with mouth filling sweetness.
